2 And Ahaziah274 fell down5307 through1157 a lattice7639 in his upper chamber5944 that834 was in Samaria,8111 and was sick:2470 and he sent7971 messengers,4397 and said559 unto413 them, Go,1980 inquire1875 of Baal-zebub1176 the god430 of Ekron6138 whether518 I shall recover2421 of this disease.4480 2483 2088

2 Однажды Охозия провалился через решётку окна верхней комнаты своего дома в Самарии и сильно поранился. И отправил он послов, сказав им: «Пойдите и спросите у Ваалзевула, екронского бога, поправлюсь ли я от этого ранения».

3 But the angel4397 of the LORD3068 said1696 to413 Elijah452 the Tishbite,8664 Arise,6965 go up5927 to meet7125 the messengers4397 of the king4428 of Samaria,8111 and say1696 unto413 them, Is it not because4480 1097 there is not369 a God430 in Israel,3478 that ye859 go1980 to inquire1875 of Baal-zebub1176 the god430 of Ekron?6138

3 Тогда Ангел Господа сказал Илии фесвитянину: «Пойди, встреть посланников самарийского царя и скажи им: „Разве нет Бога в Израиле, что вы идёте спрашивать Ваалзевула, екронского бога?”

4 Now therefore3651 thus3541 saith559 the LORD,3068 Thou shalt not3808 come down3381 from4480 that bed4296 on which834 8033 thou art gone up,5927 but3588 shalt surely die.4191 4191 And Elijah452 departed.1980

4 Поэтому так говорит Господь Охозии: „За это ты не встанешь с постели, на которой лежишь. Ты умрёшь!”» Илия пошёл и передал эти слова посланникам Охозии.

5 And when the messengers4397 turned back7725 unto413 him, he said559 unto413 them, Why4100 are ye now2088 turned back?7725

5 Когда посланники вернулись к Охозии, он спросил их: «Почему вы вернулись так быстро?»

6 And they said559 unto413 him, There came5927 a man376 up5927 to meet7125 us, and said559 unto413 us, Go,1980 turn again7725 unto413 the king4428 that834 sent7971 you, and say1696 unto413 him, Thus3541 saith559 the LORD,3068 Is it not because4480 1097 there is not369 a God430 in Israel,3478 that thou859 sendest7971 to inquire1875 of Baal-zebub1176 the god430 of Ekron?6138 therefore3651 thou shalt not3808 come down3381 from4480 that bed4296 on which834 8033 thou art gone up,5927 but3588 shalt surely die.4191 4191

6 Они ответили: «Нам навстречу вышел человек и сказал: „Возвращайтесь к царю, который послал вас, и скажите ему, что Господь говорит: „Есть Бог в Израиле! Так почему же ты посылаешь спрашивать Ваалзевула, екронского бога? За это ты не встанешь с постели, на которой лежишь. Ты умрёшь!”»

7 And he said1696 unto413 them, What4100 manner4941 of man376 was he which834 came up5927 to meet7125 you, and told1696 413 you853 these428 words?1697

7 Царь спросил посланцев: «Как выглядел тот человек, который встретил вас и сказал вам всё это?»

8 And they answered559 413 him, He was a hairy man,376 1167 8181 and girt247 with a girdle232 of leather5785 about his loins.4975 And he said,559 It1931 is Elijah452 the Tishbite.8664

8 Они ответили: «На нём была одежда из ворсистой ткани с кожаным поясом вокруг талии». И сказал царь: «Это Илия фесвитянин!»

9 Then the king sent7971 unto413 him a captain8269 of fifty2572 with his fifty.2572 And he went up5927 to413 him: and, behold,2009 he sat3427 on5921 the top7218 of a hill.2022 And he spoke1696 unto413 him, Thou man376 of God,430 the king4428 hath said,1696 Come down.3381

9 Охозия послал к Илии командира с отрядом из пятидесяти человек. Командир поднялся к Илии, который сидел на вершине холма, и сказал: «Божий человек, царь говорит: „Сойди вниз!”»

10 And Elijah452 answered6030 and said1696 to413 the captain8269 of fifty,2572 If518 I589 be a man376 of God,430 then let fire784 come down3381 from4480 heaven,8064 and consume398 thee and thy fifty.2572 And there came down3381 fire784 from4480 heaven,8064 and consumed398 him and his fifty.2572

10 Илия ответил командиру: «Если я Божий человек, то пусть огонь сойдёт с небес и уничтожит тебя и пятьдесят человек, находящихся в твоём подчинении!» Тогда огонь сошёл с небес и уничтожил командира и его пятьдесят человек.

11 Again7725 also he sent7971 unto413 him another312 captain8269 of fifty2572 with his fifty.2572 And he answered6030 and said1696 unto413 him, O man376 of God,430 thus3541 hath the king4428 said,559 Come down3381 quickly.4120
|
11 После этого царь послал к Илии другого командира с отрядом из пятидесяти человек. Командир сказал Илии: «Божий человек, царь говорит: „Сойди немедленно!”»

12 And Elijah452 answered6030 and said1696 unto413 them, If518 I589 be a man376 of God,430 let fire784 come down3381 from4480 heaven,8064 and consume398 thee and thy fifty.2572 And the fire784 of God430 came down3381 from4480 heaven,8064 and consumed398 him and his fifty.2572

12 Илия ответил: «Если я Божий человек, то пусть сойдёт огонь с небес и уничтожит тебя и пятьдесят человек, находящихся в твоём подчинении!» Тогда огонь Божий сошёл с небес и уничтожил командира и с ним пятьдесят человек.

13 And he sent7971 again7725 a captain8269 of the third7992 fifty2572 with his fifty.2572 And the third7992 captain8269 of fifty2572 went up,5927 and came935 and fell3766 on5921 his knees1290 before5048 Elijah,452 and besought2603 413 him, and said1696 unto413 him, O man376 of God,430 I pray thee,4994 let my life,5315 and the life5315 of these428 fifty2572 thy servants,5650 be precious3365 in thy sight.5869

13 Царь послал третьего командира и пятьдесят человек с ним. Этот третий командир поднялся к Илии, упал перед ним на колени и стал умолять Илию: «Божий человек, прошу тебя, не презирай жизнь мою и жизнь этих пятидесяти твоих слуг!

14 Behold,2009 there came fire down3381 784 from4480 heaven,8064 and burnt up398 853 the two8147 captains8269 of the former7223 fifties2572 with their fifties:2572 therefore let my life5315 now6258 be precious3365 in thy sight.5869
|
14 Огонь сошёл с небес и уничтожил двух командиров и их людей, приходивших до меня. Но сейчас смилуйся над нами и позволь нам жить!»

15 And the angel4397 of the LORD3068 said1696 unto413 Elijah,452 Go down3381 with854 him: be not afraid408 3372 of4480 6440 him. And he arose,6965 and went down3381 with854 him unto413 the king.4428
|
15 Тогда Ангел Господний повелел Илии: «Пойди с командиром. Не бойся его». После этого Илия отправился с командиром к царю.

16 And he said1696 unto413 him, Thus3541 saith559 the LORD,3068 Forasmuch as3282 834 thou hast sent7971 messengers4397 to inquire1875 of Baal-zebub1176 the god430 of Ekron,6138 is it not because4480 1097 there is no369 God430 in Israel3478 to inquire1875 of his word?1697 therefore3651 thou shalt not3808 come down3381 off4480 that bed4296 on which834 8033 thou art gone up,5927 but3588 shalt surely die.4191 4191

16 Илия сказал Охозии: «Так говорит Господь: „Есть Бог в Израиле. Почему же ты отправил послов с вопросами к Ваалзевулу, екронскому богу? За это ты никогда не встанешь с постели, на которой лежишь. Тебя постигнет смерть!”»

17 So he died4191 according to the word1697 of the LORD3068 which834 Elijah452 had spoken.1696 And Jehoram3088 reigned4427 in his stead8478 in the second8147 year8141 of Jehoram3088 the son1121 of Jehoshaphat3092 King4428 of Judah:3063 because3588 he had1961 no3808 son.1121

17 Охозия умер, как и предрёк Господь через Илию. У Охозии не было сыновей, поэтому вместо него воцарился Иорам. Он взошёл на трон во второй год царствования Иехорама, сына Иосафата, иудейского царя.

18 Now the rest3499 of the acts1697 of Ahaziah274 which834 he did6213 are they1992 not3808 written3789 in5921 the book5612 of the chronicles1697 3117 of the kings4428 of Israel?3478
